Meet the Team

  • Ashlee Gulley

“Be Strong!” “Get it together!” “Never let them see you hurt!” I’ve told myself these things and so many more unhelpful things over the years that I started to believe that I had to operate daily at an emotional intensity that I just could not sustain. If you are like me and have gotten good at pretending that you’re not hurt, then you are in the right place!

Hi, I’m Ashlee Gulley, M.Ed., Licensed Professional Counselor. I am a Certified School Counselor, Certified Trauma and Resilience Practitioner, and Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. I’ve worked in the field of mental health and wellness for over 14 years and I am deeply passionate about helping others who have been impacted by loss.

One thing in life that is inevitable is loss. At the point you experience loss, you need to decide whether you are willing to grow through this or allow the pain you’ve experienced to keep you from being present in your life.

If you are ready to heal from whatever has been taken from you… You Belong Here!

If you are willing to take action to build the life you deserve…You Belong Here!

Allow us the opportunity to walk with you as you start writing a NEW chapter of your life.

  • Fe Cooper

Hi, I’m Fe Cooper. I am a bilingual certified Grief Recovery Specialist and LPC-A. I am also someone who finds extreme joy in helping others feel fulfilled.

As someone who has experienced grief and loss a multitude of times, I was used to feeling a certain type of way. I learned to live with the emotional and physical pain that my losses caused me. Feeling down, stressed out, headaches, body aches, and irritability; are only some of the symptoms I experienced that I assumed were normal and related to aging. I carried this burden for many years until I came across grief counseling which helped take me on a healing journey. It was my journey to healing that allowed me to understand and grow in the area of grief.

I want others to experience what I did, peace and comfort. I want to guide you and help you do the work that will allow you to heal and explore the relationships that you have with others. When you are ready to go through this journey with us, hurtSpeaks will be there to guide you.

  • Shannon Samuel

Hi, I’m Shannon Samuel! I am a proud LPC, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, and early bird! I am here to witness your growth in discovering authentic wellness. I do this work because I remember what I felt when I had to work with the constant pain of losing my father, the stress of being a parent, and my frustration with trying to be “normal” again. Simply put, I was exhausted. If you can relate to my story, you are on the right track!

Life can deliver challenging and unbearable moments that can change us forever. For me, it was the death of my father. In search of trying to help my children heal, I also discovered I needed to heal. The Grief Recovery Method provided me with a safe space to understand what I was experiencing was normal, action steps to begin a new journey, and the freedom to feel ALIVE again. My experience inspired me, and I wanted to help others obtain their freedom.

You can begin your transformation journey if you are willing to take small, actionable steps. I will hold a safe space for you while we journey to find your inner voice, heal current and past hurts, and lead an authentically abundant life. Change is hard, but hurting is too. If you are ready to choose change, I will be honored to walk this winding road to a better tomorrow with you today.

(If you identify as an early bird or just enjoy early mornings, sessions are available as early as 4 am!)

“The key to recovery is ACTION, not time. Start here, Start TODAY!”
